LOSSA Semi Finals
The LOSSA Football Semi Finals are set for both Senior and Junior Varsity divisions.
In the Junior Varsity division, Dennis O'Connor will travel to Holy Trinity in the first semi final matchup. In the regular season, Holy Trinity controlled their way to a 39-3 win. Holy Trinity finished first in LOSSA with a perfect 4-0 record. Dennis O'Connor returned to LOSSA play for the 2025 season finishing in fourth place with a record of 2-3, defeating Brooklin 7-6 in their quarterfinal last week.
The second Junior Varsity semi final will be a rematch of just two weeks ago in the last regular season week, when Dwyer hosts Uxbridge. The two teams played to a close 13-12 finish in favour of the Saints. Dwyer finished second in league play with a record of 4-1. In their second season, Uxbridge finished in 3rd place with a record of 3-2 and surpassed O'Neill 51-6 in quarterfinal play.
The Senior Varsity division will see Brooklin host Holy Trinity for the second week in a row, this time for the right to go to the LOSSA Final. In both previous regular season matchups Brooklin came out on top, 26-14 in the first game of season, and 33-0 in the finale. The winner will play Dwyer in the final, who earned the bye with a first place record of 3-1 and the tie breaker over Brooklin. 
All Semi Final games are on Thursday, October 30th, kicking off at 2:00pm. The LOSSA Final Day will be on Thursday, November 6th at the Oshawa Civic Complex. The Junior Varsity Consolation Final kicks off the day at 2:00pm, followed by the Championship Finals. The Junior Varsity Final is at 4:30pm with the Senior Varsity Final closing the evening at 7:00pm. Winners from the Championship Final will represent LOSSA in their respective Metro Bowl playdown. The Senior Champion will also represent LOSSA at the OFSAA Bowl Series to be held at the University of Guelph, November 24th-26th (date and time to be determined).
