LOSSA Championship Finals
The LOSSA Football Championship Finals will take place this Thursday, November 6th at the Oshawa Civic Complex, Field 5.

The first game of the day sees the Junior Varsity Final kickoff at 5:00pm between Holy Trinity and Uxbridge. Holy Trinity finished in first place in the regular season and earned their way to the final via a steady 36-15 win over Dennis O'Connor. This is the fourth straight year Holy Trinity will play in the Junior Final, winning in 2022, before being the finalists in 2023 and 2024.

In their second year of operation since restarting their football program, Uxbridge has qualified for the Championship Final. Last year's Consolation Final finalist, the Tigers avenged a one point loss to Dwyer in the regular season, with a one point victory, 14-13, in the rematch, this time a semi final victory.

The Senior Varsity Final will kickoff at 7:30pm following the Junior Varsity game. Dwyer returns to the final for the third straight year, this year earning a bye via finishing in first place after the regular season. They are defending LOSSA Champions and also were victorious in the Simcoe Bowl at OFSAA in 2024.

Brooklin makes their first appearance in a Senior Final after defeating Holy Trinity 12-0 at home in the semi final last week. Brooklin Junior Varsity was in the final in 2022 with many of that group being on the current Senior Roster.

Admission to the venue for the evening will be $5, with children 12 and under admitted free. Space will be limited at the venue.

Each LOSSA Champion will move on to represent the LOSSA entry to their respective Metro Bowl playdown. The Senior Champion will first play in the 905 Bowl at Varsity Stadium, Toronto, on Thursday, November 13th at 11:00am. The winner of that game qualifies for the Metro Bowl on November 19th, again at Varsity Stadium at 2:00pm. They will also qualify for an entry in the OFSAA Bowl Festival to be held at the University of Guelph, November 24-26th (date and time to be announced).

The Junior Champion will qualify for the Junior Metro Bowl Invitational to take place through the month of November, and has yet to finalize a schedule.
